Opposites Attract...

Opposites attract with Dotty for You!  If you are seeking the Dotty for You Blog Hop, it is one post down.  I also have several other cards posted that were made with the Dotty for You Paper packet.  This card is based on the color challenge at CAS-ual Fridays this week.  The challenge is to create a CAS card with color opposites.

 

I try to play at CAS-ual Fridays every week.  I had to be out of town over the weekend, so I am just now getting to my card.  BUT, while I was out of town….I found my inspiration for my card.  Here is a photo-

 

Can you guess what it is???  My inspiration was a Martha Stewart dog collar!  I managed to turn the mundane task of shopping for dog food into a card!  I was walking by the display and had to do a double take…A. this would be perfect for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge and B.  I could use my Dotty for You papers!  Out came the camera! (Dare I bring up the 12 step program again???)

 

I cut the flowers with my Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  Using the dog collar for my example, I cut my flowers at 2” and 1 ½”.   The flower is from page 39 of the booklet.

 

I rolled the edges of my flower around my paper piercing tool to add some dimension.  I adhered the layers with pop-dots.  I topped the flower off with a Sunset button threaded with Sunset twine.
