I am trying to step outside of my comfort zone with my card making. It just seems after awhile, that my cards start having the same feel to them. I am a huge fan of stitching on cards. The sewing machine is not my friend. I have tried, truly tried to make friends with my sewing machine. I think we might be to the point to where we are on speaking terms! I decided to change things up a little on the sketch this week at Retro Sketches. Instead of going with my usual cardstock strip on my card, I added stitching for the vertical panel. (This was after much discussion and pleading with the sewing machine) Here is the original sketch design-
I added bling to my flowers and a little glitter, with my Spica pen, to the vine. I topped off my layered flower with a bling button. The bling on my CAS card is for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge to add bling to your CAS card.
