March SOTM Blog Hop

My card is based on the sketch this week at Mojo Monday.  This month seems to be the month for me to try new things!  Yet another first, a circle card.  I see more of them in my future!  Here is the original sketch-

It is round or square week.  I decided to do something besides my usual rectangle or square cards and went with the circle.  The circle card was a breeze to make with my Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  In fact all of the elements on this card were made with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  The scallop circle card base, circle layers, 3-D flowers, leaves, flourish and scallop border were all made with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge!  All supplies by Close To My Heart:

H2H Photo Inspiration Challenge

It’s Monday!  Time for another challenge at H2H Challenges!  This week we are having a photo inspiration challenge.  Check out the inspirational photo below.   Get out your Close To My Heart products and join in the challenge.  If the photo alone does not inspire you, how about prizes???  H2H is giving away a surprise package of goodies to one lucky participant!  You have to play to win!

My inspiration was the big white flower hanging on the Desert Sand Walls.  I added in a touch of Twilight Blue to accent my card.  I love the striped curtains, so added a few stripes to my project as well.  My 3-D flower as made with the help of the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  My flower is actually the layered star on page 23 of the booklet.  All supplies by Close To My Heart.
